SUBJECT : 5th PSME MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EDUCATORS’ CONGRESS
Dear Fellow Mechanical Engineers!
We are pleased to inform you that we will be holding our 5th PSME National Mechanical Engineering Educators’ Congress on June 17, 2016 at the Century Park Hotel, No. 559 Pablo Ocampo St., Malate, Manila with the theme “PSME: In Pursuit of Technical Advancement of Mechanical Engineering Educators.”
The 5th MEEC will provide a platform for the exchange of information, experience and discussion on mechanical engineering research and education and its role in the other engineering disciplines. This event is the continuation of the 4th Congress which was attended by more than 50 different colleges and universities nationwide. It is an excellent venue for scientists, researchers, engineers and academicians to interact and exchange relevant information on mechanical engineering research and development.
The scope of the congress will include discussions on the following issues:
Upgrading Mechanical Engineering Curriculum, Laboratories and Equipment, Professional Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination for Educators, Continuing Professional Development of PSME, ASEAN Engineer Registry, Concern of Engineers to the Environment and Sharing Best Practices in Mechanical Engineering Education.
Through these, the academe will become more dynamic in honing more globally competitive mechanical engineering graduates and consequently, globally recognized professionals. It also aims to inform the academe about the present state and efforts the Government and the PSME are exerting towards continuous uplifting of the Mechanical Engineering Education Program.
We are inviting all Mechanical Engineering faculty members to take part in this event. We have attached a copy of the flyer. Registration Fee is P1,500.00. For more information, you may contact the Secretariat at (02) 225-3896 / 987-9056 / telefax number (02) 493-4268 or email your concerns to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In behalf of the Program Committee, I thank you for your continued support.
